Strategies to organize important papers
One of the frustrations that people with low vision face everyday is keeping track of their papers. A bright, distinctive colored 3 Ring Binder can help by providing sections for different types of information. We typically suggest multiple sections in each binder, each labelled in large print:
Important papers, Phone Numbers, Appointments, To-Do Lists, Reminders, Grocery List, Recipes, Instructions, Mementoes, Calendar.
The categories can be individualized depending on the low vision person’s needs. If necessary, a number of binders could be used. One for each category of papers.
There is a better way. Binders are a great and inexpensive way to keep things organized.
